Creative workshops

With my background in college education and experience as a coach, I know how important it is to ask the right questions, to really listen and to empower someone. In my studio I offer small-scale sessions in which you get space for your story in a safe, creative way. You make a personal ceramic piece that symbolizes something meaningful to you - a closure, a memory, or a new beginning - such as a birth.

Making ceramics takes time and attention. You can't rush it. You come back several times: first to create a unique piece out of clay. After a drying process of several weeks, you glaze your work. And when it is finally fired, you come and pick it up (or I send it to you). We look back on the process: what did you make - and what did it bring you?

Everybody can do it; you don't have to be overly creative. Just enjoy the process of making something yourself. Like the painter Bob Ross said: "We don't make mistakes, we make only happy accidents".

Late last year was a turbulent time for me with the passing of my Mom. That brought me to Nicole who helped me create a personalized urn for her. The end result is beautiful and it also gave the loss a permanent place. ❤️
