Sometimes life brings you an unexpected gift wrapped in a lot of lessons. With me, that happened after a tumultuous period with a burnout, diagnosis of a chronic condition and to top it off, an ADHD diagnosis at age 50. Everything stood still except my head. In that confusing silence, I searched for a way to reconnect with myself. Setting boundaries, slowing down, no longer saying “yes” to everything, it was desperately needed. I put my hands in the clay - literally - and found peace, rhythm and my ultimately passion.

What began as a small-scale experiment became a deeply healing process. Making ceramics gave me space to breathe. With each bowl, cup or quote I made, I came closer to my authentic self. I developed my own style: colorful, with ceramic transfers, meaningful texts and a touch of imperfection - just like life itself.

In my garden I put an old gypsy wagon, which I lovingly converted into a colorful studio. An inspiring place where creativity is given free rein, where time plays no role. And ratio is not involved.

I wish everyone such a place: a safe haven to catch their breath, where you make with your hands what your heart wants to tell you.
